Get excited, because Philadelphia will be hosting a number of amazing performers in 2022. In case you weren’t aware, each artist featured on this hand-picked song playlist is coming to the area.

Breakeven (Falling to Pieces) — The Script

The Script will be bringing their “Greatest Hits Tour 2022” to The Fillmore in Philadelphia on April 13. Although it is a throwback, “Breakeven” is hands down the band’s most iconic song. Whether you are at home listening on Spotify or nodding along at The Fillmore, this song will have you in your feelings in the best way possible.

Royals — Lorde

There is no denying the nostalgia of Lorde and this song’s beauty. From the time I was in sixth grade until now, “Royals” has run its course but remains one of the most popular songs from the 2010s. Lorde is coming to Philadelphia’s The Met on her “Solar Power Tour” on April 20, and you can count on her to bring this oldie back to the stage.

In My Blood — Shawn Mendes

Coming to you live from the Wells Fargo Center Aug. 3: Shawn Mendes. Despite how quiet he has been in recent months, Mendes is still no doubt one of the most popular performers of our generation, and this song is proof. It would be an absolute privilege to hear this performed live, but listening via mobile device still does the job.

Good 4 U — Olivia Rodrigo

True, she is probably younger than you, but she is still selling out arenas. Phenomenon Olivia Rodrigo is coming to Philly May 6 and 7 to perform at The Met, and you can bet there won’t be a single open seat. Even though she has only risen to fame in the past year, Rodrigo has built an massive fanbase that follows her and her music religiously — and when you listen to songs like this one, can you really blame those devoted fans?

She Looks So Perfect — 5 Seconds of Summer

Yes, you read that right: 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) will be coming to Philly to perform at the Skyline Stage July 6. Anyone who knows 5SOS knows this iconic song that initially put them on the map, and rightfully so. Don’t try to lie to yourself; you know every lyric to this timeless song, you bop your head along whenever it comes on the radio, and you won’t be able to resist rocking out if you see it live in July.
