On Oct. 28, Gompers Elementary School held a trunk-or-treat event in their back parking lot. Students from various St. Joe’s organizations were welcomed to decorate the trunks of their cars and pass out candy to the kids.

“It’s really cool to create happy memories for the kids we all see playing outside when walking around campus,” said Tess Coary ’24, public relations chair of Hawkapella. “I had a grandmother tell me that she was really happy that so many students showed up and how excited her grandson was, so just knowing that we were part of making their Halloween special makes my Halloween special too.”
