Trying to find some new tunes to listen to amidst house hunting? While you are trying to figure out housing, roommates and other home-related concerns, listen to these tracks to hopefully help find your way home.

“find my way home” – MisterWives

MisterWives, an indie pop band, has been dropping hit songs that deserve to be recognized. “find my way home” has an exciting sound, getting any listener in the mood to dance with its energizing beat. While listening to this tune, no matter where you are living next year, you will be able to find yourself dancing along to the melody.

“Build Me A House” – RIMON and Tiggs Da Author

While RIMON and Tiggs Da Author might “run away,” most students would jump at the chance for the school to build them a house. An R&B song functioning as a mellow slow jam, “Build Me A House” will help soothe your nerves as you try to find a house for next year. With its soulful sound, this song will be a great addition to your house-hunting playlist.

“Dancing In The Street” – Martha and The Vandellas

While you are stuck wandering the streets looking for your new off-campus housing, put some pep in your step with some Martha and The Vandellas. “Dancing In The Street” is an old-fashioned groove that will have you up and moving with its upbeat sound. Whether in Philadelphia or another part of the world, you will have a great time dancing in the street to this hit.

“Home” – Surfaces

At the height of the stress that comes with the search for a place to live, nothing can be more soothing than the mellow sounds of Surfaces, a pop and soul music duo consisting of Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki. In their song “Home,” a short tune from their 2019 album “Where the Light Is,” they create a smooth calypso groove. Let your housing troubles wash away while this peaceful tune plays in the background.
