There are many more films in store for audiences in 2023 than anyone could imagine. The films chosen in this list include stars who have the potential to gain critical acclaim. Continuing from last week, here are five more big-name titles to look out for.

“John Wick: Chapter 4” – March 24

This film was originally meant to release two years ago but was delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic. From director Chad Stahelski, “John Wick: Chapter 4” will follow Keanu Reeves’ John Wick as he faces a path to freedom as well as a threat that takes him all over the world. Also starring Donnie Yen as Caine, Bill Skarsgård as The Marquis de Gramont and Ian McShane as Winston Scott, the film was initially planned to be followed by a fifth installment, so this is not yet the end of John Wick.

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One” – July 14

The long-running “Mission: Impossible” series’ seventh installment is not far off from releasing. Tom Cruise aims to deliver another adrenaline-rushing sequel to the franchise that’s said to be even bigger than the previous films. Not much has been divulged about the plot. Christopher McQuarrie returns as director, and other notable cast members include Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson and Ving Rhames.

“Fast X” – May 19

The follow-up to “F9,” this is the 10th film in the series and the 11th full-length movie overall. Louis Leterrier directs stars old and new as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Brie Larson, Jason Mamoa and others bring the franchise to a close in this final installment. No details about the synopsis have been released.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” – Feb. 17

Ant-Man and the Wasp return in the third “Ant-Man” film, with Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily returning to play the titular roles. Directed by Peyton Reed, this will follow Scott Lang and his family as they are pulled into the Quantum Realm, discovering an entirely new world with new people and places.

“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” – June 2

A few years have passed since Miles Morales became the all-new friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. In this sequel to the 2018 film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” Miles teams up with other Spider-People to defend the Multiverse. With its fun and unique animation style, this film will hopefully live up to its predecessor. It is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, and stars Shameik Moore as Miles, Hailee Steinfield as Gwen Stacy and Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara.
